at IMA 2011 in Dusseldorf
The IMA (International Trade Fair for entertainment and vending machines) in Dusseldorf is the most important fair in Europe for entertainment and sports gaming machines, bowling, billiards, service and vending machines. It is where international suppliers meet the operators of gaming halls, casinos, bowling alleys, catering and billiard cafés.
On the joint stand of BAplus, the service company of the Bundesverband Automatenunternehmer e.V., videte IT® project GmbH as a BAplus partner displayed its latest security technology. With the high-performance recorders in the idip® series, videte IT® covers the entire range of video surveillance in this sector.
Sales Manager Tobias Bauer demonstrated the programme interface of the idip® inspicio control software on the videte IT® stand. This makes it easy to operate the cameras and recorders which are connected. „It is precisely the slot machine sector where security is high on the agenda“, says Tobias Bauer. „Here we can offer companies an integrated, long-term and cost-effective solution through our flexible and efficient idip® program. We are also happy to offer everything from one source including planning, installation, training and support. There was a lot of interest on the stand.“

BA-Service GmbH has chosen videte IT project GmbH as its exclusive partner for video security
Since 1 May 2010 videte IT has been the partner for video security management in the gaming halls of the member companies of the BA member associations. The Bundesverband Automatenunternehmer Service- und Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH (BA-Service GmbH) had numerous good reasons for selecting the system house from Neumünster as its exclusive partner. The many years of experience in the field of video security technology and its special expertise in the gaming hall sector create optimal conditions for successful collaboration. In addition, the idip® product series from videte IT gives gaming hall operators the greatest efficiency in this sector. The initial projects at BA member companies have already been successfully implemented.

New idip® software interface
Our idip® systems are now available with a new innovative software interface with lots of additional functions. These include live images in overlay mode, free arrangement of the cameras simply by drag and drop, preview images to select the cameras and a timeline display to find images quickly.
New entry-level model at videte IT® - idip® ECO
videte IT® project GmbH, the high-end manufacturer from northern Germany is launching an entry-level model for small and medium applications to round off the successful idip® product series - the idip® ECO.
The idip® ECO is an 8-channel video management system in MPEG-4 / MJPEG format. idip® ECO has Windows XP Embedded as the operating system running from a flash memory. In addition to the link to analogue cameras, the hybrid recorder also offers the option of connecting with up to 16 IP cameras.
The idip® ECO is also envisaged for use in a local network LAN (TCP/IP). This provides the option of access from another network work station. The ECO expands the detection and reaction options enormously. It has everything which meets the highest security requirements: digital image recording, processing of hazard alarm systems and supports all the well-established transmission methods. This is all combined in a single device at a superb price.
